O.K at best. We all know that people drink it by the slab because its cheap.
i have to agree carlton draught gives me headaches too, it tastes good though.
I like a lot of CUB beers but this aint one of them. Bad aftertaste and bad headaches.
For all those in a pub ask your rep to fill ya up with goodies otherwise find a rep that will, cause they will. Bye the way CD is by far the best beer on tap at a local if well looked after (temp wise) so keep swillin this fine cold ale. good drinkin to all
Like an old girlfriend. You always remember the first time but the spark is not there a few years later; only the lust. A nice reliable f*%k buddy on tap.
Nice enough beer, but always hits my head when I have tried it as in headache wise, not something I would drink all the time.
Utterly terrible, if wrong had a flavour i'm sure they mastered the art of bottling it.
The CUB certainly produce some good beer and this is one of them.
You could argue it is a bit over priced however wait for the specials and stock up you won't regret it the rating says it all.
I started drinking Carlton Draught in 1968, 26 Fluid Oz Cans, (Nicknamed White Death) Needed a tin opener to get at the beer.
I have drank many different brands but always come back to the Best beer In Australia, Possibly the world. Some of the outlets here have it on special 2 Slabs for $70:00 Best value around.
Cheers

Oh By the way, I was on a diet recently and got stuck into the low carb stuff and guess what Carlton's Natural Blonde is the best of that lot as well.
Smells like vomit, tastes like s**t. probably the only Aussie beer i don't like.
Home & Away this stuff is as consistent as Alf at the bait shop on a Sunday morning in Summer Bay.
Top Drop
Nice beer. Much better than VB. A bit too dear for what it is - should be under $35 a carton (maybe if they stopped advertising it would be cheaper).
Home grown goodness, a beer for all seasons. Distinctive taste which eclipses VB as one of my local favourites. Great on tap in your local Vic pub.
One of the best beers in this price range, a great Australian beer with a real beer taste.
none of this wimpy wheat-flavored low-carb stuff.
Great beer from the tap also prefer from cans than Stubbies. Beats that watery piss they call VB hands down.
One of my favorite beers great on tap as that was what its brewed for. Although not bad at all out of a stubbie.

I used to drink it
I reckon it WAS a great beer until they changed the alc. level and taste from 4.9 to 4.6 about 6 yrs ago
But saying that it's still a good beer and on tap too
The third worst beer in the world, after VB and Fosters (you work out the order). Metallic taste. Guaranteed hangover. Perfect for undiscerning yobs (see reviews below).
Top beer. Still prefer it on tap. I actually prefer VB to Draught out of a stubby.
This is a good beer. Not a good beer for the price...it is a good beer fullstop. OK I stole that line from Richard (from Top Gear)but it's true. easily better than NEW or VB.
BEST BEER FOR COST BEER THERE IS!!
love it, nice and cold, poured into a frosted glass.
Game of pool??
At the races?
The edgy?
Its a good beer off TAP, literally.
gotta go it as my number 1.
I love you draught.
I never rated this beer to begin with. It has certainly grown on me though. Not sure why it costs as much as it does. Good bog stock beer. Buy it at the right price.
carlton draught is possibly the greatest draught of them all. with a clean, crisp taste it is much better than any imported beers. go draughties, go australia.
Clean hop bitterness gives the brew a slightly dry finish. There are plenty of better dry finishing beers that are leaps above this drop. Not my cup of tea.
