probably one of the most over rated beers i know, its popularity amazes me, but to each his own, drink in the bottle with lime, good summers day beer.
Not bad with a bit of lime in it on a hot summer's day with lunch. But you have to ask yourself why do I need to put lime in a beer to make it drinkable. Without the lime it lacks taste. At $50 a carton they must be joking. Light on flavour, heavy on price - not a good combo.
Not even a beer, not worthy of even 1 star. I would rather drink nothing than this tripe. The Mexicans themselves resent this beer, yet Fosters tries to portray this as some sort of deluxe premium beer in Australia. This is a beer for people who don't like beer as all the flavour of the malt, hops and barley has been filtered out. People add lemon to it so they don't get their water bottle mixed up with it.
these are so s**t, why put lemon in your beer, it may be ok in mexico but not here, and its a rip off 60 bucks on average for a carton!

One of the better imported beers, and while I am not a fan of this Mexican drink I can see the appeal. It is a good drink to get the youngins' started on beer (to prevent them from drinking Cruisers and other Alco-Pops). I easily can drink about 12 of these in a night and they do not produce a hangover (fortunately). If you want a flavoursome beer get something from Toohey's or XXXX, this one is bland.

Save same cash and get Sol instead. Add your lemon or lime and go crazy. If you drink this Mexican swill you probably turn gay anyway.That's just a rumor; but 9 out of 10 ponies in Chapel Street St.Kilda can't be wrong. Take a walk ... enjoy the view ... but no need to be 'cool' and drink this 'mexi man cum'.
This beer is clearly not worth the money when you are always adding a lemon or lime for extra taste. Though is a good refreshing beer with the lemon and can be enjoyed icy cold in hot weather though cannot drink these all day.
Bland, similar price beers like Squires are better by a mile. Easy to drink as far as beers go, but I'll take a free water instead.

Gotta agree that its easy to drink, great on a summers day but its totally overpriced.
It has little taste and the lemon just makes it more appealing to chicks or blokes who don't like the taste of traditional beers.
The can be no denying drinking Corona makes a statement - like it or not.
Go it without the lemon, to make the most of the very subtle taste.
LoL at some of the comments about this beer. this beer can not be compared to beers like VB or Carlton it taste nothing like either of them and if you actually enjoy drinking VB or Carlton chances are your not going to like corona. Although i honestly dont know why people would say they are better then corona. i dont think we will be seeing VB being exported anytime soon LOL..
Also dont know many people who would drink something they dont like to look cool as you all seem to be thinking that is the reason.
And why would they when you can drink VB for half the price and look super cool like these guys.
Gross s**t, never liked it, worst priced beer ever, being over 50 bucks is just sad.. for such a c**p drink, never known why so many people like it, must be the lemon you can use for it.. that attracts people to it.
Has to be my Favourite Bottled beer. Great light taste, perfect when ice cold and with a slice of lime or lemon.. perfect for a hot summers day.

i dont get why people dont like it ..i guess ppl want their beers to be Dry and bitter i.e Carlton or VB (would rather stabb myself)

its a RIP if not on special so watch out!!!.. anything over $50 aint worth it unless ur reallly despearate (i was once) otherwise u can usually find a good special for under 50 and look out for THE o****mIC special of 2 for $80 in that case stock up for the yr hahah s**t i will next time it comes around

my mate got a carton of these on special, they taste like piss, although admittedly i wasnt drinking them with lime, but still horrible watered down s**t...

Can't understand the hype. I've tried it with lemon lime and without and yet every time i have 3 or 4 before the taste finally gets 2 me. However every person has their own taste and this is simply not for me
Not worth a review. Why should you need to kill the flavour of a beer with lime? Oh that's right, it's not worthy of having 'beer' status.
Great tasting beer but way too expensive, and you can drink a case without getting drunk.
it is only acceptable to drink this beer if you are either juvi or female.
furthermore, you only put a slice of lemon in this drink, and i quote "to mask the skunky aroma".

This is a great party beer that is a popular in most age groups (but especially with younger crowds). Its not a full flavoured beer but it goes down nicely and will never go to waste.
If your catering for an event, you can never go wrong stocking up on these in place of any other premium beer. Only the die hard aussie beer supporters would probably be picky enough to have a have a whinge about this stuff.

Although quite watery and tasteless, this beer is fantastic to drink on a hot day down the beach with a slice of lemon or lime down the neck, very refreshing and easy to drink.
If you want something with real personality and flavour though, get a European beer.
^^^ I agree , best drunk during the summer , no lemon or lime required , and I find that with Corona you don't get smashed like on some other beers.

Very nice, easy to drink beer. Not as heavy as a VB or Carlton which doesn't make it everyone's first choice. Much better beer than some of the other Mexican imports. Can take or leave the citrus condiments.
Why would you pay Top $$$ 4a beer then stick a bloody LEMON down the neck to get some flavour out of it?
if you go to mexico they dont drink it they piss in the bottles and send it here for yuppies to drink. stick with aussie beers at least made with water.
The only use I've found for this beer is hair of the dog. Reason being it doesn't taste like beer, so you can get stuck into it the next day no worries. After 2 or 3 you can switch back to your beer of choice.
One of the best Summer beers available. Nice clean smooth light taste, and theres obviously a reason why its one of the highest selling imports in this country.
People who drink this beer either A) don't like beer or B) are sales reps on a company junket (see also Crown lager).
People must drink this beer because they think it makes them look 'cool'. I can't think any other reason someone would drink it.
Mmmmmmm delicious, a great lighthearted beer that leaves a sparkle on the tongue when drunk ICE cold. Best served with a wedge of LEMON or LIME stuffed down its neck.

Very easy drinking light tasting beer. Nothing flash. Goes great with a dash of lime.
Premium advertising. Not a premium beer. If the lemon/lime was so great it would be included in the bottle, you may as well drink radlers.
Ice cold, ashes cricket on the 60" plasma with mates, nothing better. Put some lime in it and it is nice & light.
This would have to be the most popular beer in the world, so whats the big fuss? Bitter, No flavour and each stubby has a different amount of beer. (look next time your at the bottle shop.) The only taste you will ever get is from the lemon, id rather drink dirty bath water.
