Quite simply the best beer you can get (just ahead of Melbourne and Carlton Draught) and thats why its Australias favourite since it was first brewed. Thank God for Victoria and its beers.
All you other backward states can keep trying......but your wasting your time, the mighty Vics come up trumps everytime

A truly horrible beer but fine testimony to the art of chemistry rather than brewing. If you have to drink this stuff, do it quickly. If you have other options (apart from XXXX) you'll be doing you digestive system a massive favour!
for real aussie blokes that love a real aussie beer you cant go past this..
me personally i preffer to drink it out of stubbies not cans but its all the same beer in the end..

Great beer but come on when i have to break a pineapple to buy a beer brewed in my own backyard its becoming more and more of a joke. Way over priced!

Lets not over think this beer, it serves a purpose and will always stay true. Rickyvespa has said all that needs to be said "I love this stuff, it gets me pissed every time"
vic bitter is of a poor standard and for the price you can do much better. although saying that the feral's seem to love it ( say no more )
totally agree with katherine d....most complaints by drinkers in pubs is the c**p stubbies that appear on a regular bases...the brown bottle and sun dont mix...
